Hello All, Sorry I have not played for a few weeks but I am slowly getting better, on lots of tablets and vitamins which should hopefully bring me back upto speed again. Here is my desk. Well what can I say! I am playing with my distressed inks again, and there are two Sarah Kay images I am slowly colouring. There is cotton on my desk for sewing, and my flowers which seem to have exploded!

Wags and Whiskers - Use a punch

Thank you again for the get well messages, I am slowly ont he mend, just waiting on tests results, a few days off blogging and stopping in bed as much as I have been able while the boys are at school and nursery is helping. Doesn't help that DH is not well as well too. My card today is for the wags and whiskers challenge. I have used my martha stewart punch to create the border, and a martha stewart punch for the leaves. I hope you like and are able to join us. The image is Laila and can be purchesed here.

A tear rolled down her face and splashed onto the roof of the incubator, where the tiny baby slept, wired up to machines and oxygen to help him breathe. No one would tell her why he was born so soon, she never had the expected rush of love, and the shouts of ’It’s a boy’ and being able to count ten little fingers and ten tiny toes. It was another week before she was finally allowed to hold him and when she did he opened up massive blue eyes which looked into hers and said ‘I love you Mummy’. And then the tidal wave hit.

WOYWW and Kraftin Kimmie Cinderella

Please excuse my photo's today my photo manager program thingy has decided not to allow me to edit, crop etc. My desk as it is today. Still trying to find a way to store my copics which works for me so i now have a tin of essential colours, my flesh and hairs and then one of my next needed colours, jeans, leave setc, I will get there! My flowers are a mess really need to tidy them up and check what I need new for a re order. Still full of a cold and painful tummy, this is one nasty virus, thank you to all my get well messages last week.

For some reason it looks blobby above one eye as if i have coloured over the line, which i haven't and the hair is not as well shaded as in real life, can someone explain my picture madness today to me please???? I have used the die cut as a rose bush, well that is the attempt anyway, does it work? I bravely stamped the sentiment straight onto the paper which is an old cosmic cricket sheet. I am thinking of joining the dt call for guest for Kraftin Kimmie for April but not 100% sure my work is good enough.

Tried something new - Wags and whiskers DT Card

I tried something different and this was the result. I followed Lacey's beautiful sketch and distressed layered papers to an inch of their lives, added an image stamped and coloured in different shades of brown distressed inks. I was trying to make it look like a scrap page from the 1950's. The image was stampe donto cream creased linen card to make it looked weathered and aged. What do you think? Do you like? Let me know please and also have a go at Lacey's sketch you don't have to use a Wags and Whiskers Image xxx

What is on My Workdesk Wednesday. Well I have got out my new House Mouse Stamp which I plan to make a fun card out of for my sons birthday next month. I have my pearls and gems out as I have been sewing them on cards. My copics chart as I have just ordered some new caio's form Nikki and they are due to turn up today - yay! My bow easy - would not be without and my flowers I am sorting through as I need to place an order with WOC for ribbon for the school PTA and I am going to order some more buds at the same time and maybe a few poppies.

Little Mice playing in Lavender

A quick post today I am afraid running late! One of my new House Mouse from Christmas, coloured in distressed inks. The paper is an old sheet of K and Co. The lace and ribbon is left overs from my scrap box. The gorgeous heart charm was from Lacey at Stamp and Create, held on with a string of pearls (just visable). No glitter again, just didn't seem right with the vintage feel. The papers are slightly distressed and faux stitched. I hope you like it.
