Wags and Whiskers DT Challenge Card - Black and White - New Rules

There is new rules on Wags 'n Whiskers!!

it is now opened up the challenges to ALL stamps!!
It is no longer a requirement to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image on your card. But there will be a separate prize if you DO use a WnW image!

Starting this week, one random participant will win a
Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber stamp of their choice.
And any entry using a Wags 'n Whiskers image on their card will be entered into a drawing for a free WnW Digital stamp of your choice!!
Therefore, anyone who uses a Wags 'n Whiskers image will be entered into both prizes of a rubber stamp and a digital stamp!!
The only requirements are that you link directly to your challenge project - not to the main page of your blog. You must have a new project (no back linking). And you must link your card to the challenge post.
If you do not have a blog, you can still enter the challenges by uploading your cards to an open gallery such as Splitcoast Stampers.

My card is made using one of the new fairies Iris and coloured her using one pad of distressed ink! The paper is from a papercraft pad I think, the lace is WOC, the flowers have been punched and the brad is the last of a K and Co that I have had years.

I hope you like and do please join in x

what's on your work desk wednesday

I thought you may like to see Paul's finished (part 1 of 3) Roman Soldiers.
Here is a wider shot of his desk, he has started undercoating the next lot. For those of you whom asked our desks are at a right angle I am under the window and he is along the wall to the right of me (I have my bookcase with all my embellishments and punches on to the left.

And here is my desk. The new stamps were an early birthday gift of my good blogging friend Heidi, the flowers and brads you can see are all autumn colours. There is a list of all the challenges, which I write down and take upstairs with me. The distressed ink is my favourite at the moment for edging papers with. The dark green ribbon was from Stamp and Create (also Lacey sells the Sarah Kay's)

If you are looking fo rmy ABC Card the glue dried terribly blotchy so I plan to do another one, have put the awful one on ABC rather than leave a blank space but it will be replaced as soon as I can get in my craft room tonight!!!!

I promise to visit more tables this week, this week has been hectic with the boys off school xxx

My computer is broken, I am writting this in the library. They have no facilities to upload photo's though so I will have to try and get to my sisters or Dad's at the weekend to do this. Please bear with me as challenge cards and design team cards will be late until I am able to get a new computer.

Stamp And Create - Product spotlight - Wee Ones from Wags and Whiskers

I have used Tiny Dancer (the product spotlight this week is the wee ones from Wags and Whiskers) to create a card for a blind child. I cut around the image and raised it using pads so that the child can trace the shape of the image. The large ribbon is gingham and is nice and large to feel. The circles have been cut using circular Nesties. A little flower charm sits amoungst the flowers and light blue pearls spell out the childs name in Braille at the top of the card.
Remember the challenge this month is an inspirational card for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Autumn House Mouse

Hiya

gosh is it me or is autumn well and truely here. The boys are stuck in more than they are playing out and as we have not had a very good summer it means they are bored of all their toys, thank goodness christmas is around the corner.

A nice simple card today for Paul's grandad hence no flowers! I have followed the sketch saturday sketch but only used 2 candy pieces in the corner as 3 was too much. The image is House Mouse which I fell in love with last year and I think is perfect for male autumn birthdays. It has been coloured in distressed inks and the papers are Basic Grey can't remember the name the front of the pack has fallen off!

Challenges -

Allsorts - Inspiration from a song - forever autumn
secret crafter - distressing, the papers are distressed and distressed inks used to colour

Wags and Whiskers DT Challenge Card - Vintage

Unfortunately I am late getting my card done as my stupid asthma has been playing up and had to visit the doctor and I am now back on the brown inhalor for the winter :( So I am afraid it is a simple card for the challenge on Wags and Whiskers .

This week the challenge is Vintage?shabby Chic as choosen by the talented Michele. I have used Sweet Danni and Bella and some old K and Co Christmas Papers. The flowers are prima hydrangas and the ribbon is stash. A few pearls adorn the corners. I am trying to keep my christmas cards simple this year and I think this works well.
