Belle with Teddy

This gorgeous image was a rak of Jacqui as I won the stamp in her blog candy, and it is gorgeous. I have coloured it using my distressed inks, they were feeling abit neglected and have stuck her onto paper from basic grey (marakech) and paper pizazz (tan text) I have hand sewen the green thread onto the card and distressed the papers. I hope that you like it. I am going to enter it into the Whistle and Belles (roses on paper) DT Call click here for details.

Challenges
Sketch and Stash - Sketch - new items, stamp, martha stewart butterfly punch, neglected inks and ribbon.
Belles and Whistles - orange, brown and green plus a sketch from another challenge blog.

Have I been missed?

We have had no internet supply for nearly a week due to the modem breaking and it has also been my youngest son's 2nd birthday.
Thank you to Jacqui and Georgia for the candy they sent, sorry I have not been able to email you and I am late sending codes to all the ABC top 5 people. I will do this in the next few days.

This first card is a beautiful house mouse stamped image from Jennifer. I have followed the papertake weekly sketch challenge using papers from K and Co and coloured the image in using copics. I have kept it clean and simple as it is perfect for a male card.

challenges - Papertake weekly - sketch, Saturday secret crafter - animals

This is an image I had coloured before knowing what the challenges would be, in copics and I have matched her with basic grey sugared paper and followed the sketch on a spoonful of sugar.

challenges - Spoonful of Sugar - sketch

This final card is a decoupage image of tilda with lollipop from my friend Jayne. I have coloured her in using copics (bg10.g000.g00.e21.e50.e00.e51.e08.e33.e35.e57) and the charm was a rak of Heidi. The papers are new and are a 12x12 sheet of cosmic cricket. Which I adore.

challenges - sketch and stash, dutch dare - charms

I promise to catch up with everyone soon and bear with me while I catch up with challenges.

Summer Showers Tilda

This is my card which I have made this afternoon for the following two challenges. It is gorgeous here today but I loved this image that I stamped off Jayne so I just had to use it.

The two challenges are

*Just Magnolia monthly decoupage
*Sketch and Stash - (new papers, gifted flowers and new glimmer mist and sentiment)

I have used my promarkers to colour the layers - I had to do the ones underneath as it did not feel right otherwise! I blended these as per my facial tutorial. I then used basic grey wisteria pad to follow Becky's sketch. The hydranga flowers were a rak of Heidi (thank you again hun) and the roses I used my new hydranga glimmermist on. The sentiment is a peel off I have had ages.

I hope you like x

Lazy Sunny Afternoon

I adore this card and unfortunately the light does not do it justice. I have coloured it to show Willow sunning her face and so the light hits on the right and all the colour belnds away to the left. I will try and take another photo of it outside later on. I am adoring my distressed inks and I think that I am slowly getting better at using them too.

I hope you like it.

Spoonful of Sugar and Sketch and Stash

Please excuse my thumb in the photo as I was trying to get a good photo yesterday in between hail storms! This is my first attempt on my own at masking and I am so happy with the result. It is a birthday card for my husbands uncle who is 50 tomorrow so I have popped his age on the little plack that Oakley is holding, therefore it qualifies for Spoonful of Sugar celebration. A wonderful sketch by Becky at Sketch and Stash that I had to use and kept the card embellishment free as the image is so detailed (both stamps new) and for a male I did not think it needed anything else. I hope that you like it x

Sketch and Stash meets spoonful of sugar (textures)

It may not look like much but is one of the most expensive cards that I have made! What is new - well the papers are from my K and Co tulip pad, the image was the first time I had coloured in distressed inks (apart from my trial with Cathy's), the ribbon I shook cutting as it is my stroking ribbon! The crochet flower was with the ribbon part of my birthday present of Cathy and I have resisted using for so long, but felt the need to use a tiny bit of it today. This is the different textures which qualify it for a spoonful of sugar.
This card will be used for a crafting friend whom will appreciate the value of the items that I have used!

Sketch and Stash

OMG you would not believe how bad the light is today - this was taken in daylight - eek, have taken a small under electric light but the congratulations sentiment in gold metalic has not shown up. Ok what is new - the ribbon is from American Boutiques and is yummy and the flowers from Blooms go Belle (which was a birthday gift of Lyndsey). The image is Sugar Nellie Postbox and the papers are K and Co Life Journey - I hope that you like it x
