Lazy Sunny Afternoon
I adore this card and unfortunately the light does not do it justice. I have coloured it to show Willow sunning her face and so the light hits on the right and all the colour belnds away to the left. I will try and take another photo of it outside later on. I am adoring my distressed inks and I think that I am slowly getting better at using them too.
I hope you like it.

ABC P s for Pearls
Fingers crossed that this post works as I am having terrible trouble with blogger at the moment. We are being sponsored by WHimsey Stamps this week whom kindly supplied the images that the design team have used. I received this little duck which has been coloured using distressed inks and mounted on pearlised purple and ivory card. I have added 4 little prima flowers with pearl centres to the image and a peice of purple and gold ribbon. I hope you like it.

Spoonful of Sugar and Sketch and Stash
Please excuse my thumb in the photo as I was trying to get a good photo yesterday in between hail storms! This is my first attempt on my own at masking and I am so happy with the result. It is a birthday card for my husbands uncle who is 50 tomorrow so I have popped his age on the little plack that Oakley is holding, therefore it qualifies for Spoonful of Sugar celebration. A wonderful sketch by Becky at Sketch and Stash that I had to use and kept the card embellishment free as the image is so detailed (both stamps new) and for a male I did not think it needed anything else. I hope that you like it x

Sketch Saturday #51 and Saturday Secret Crafter
I have never entered Sketch Saturday before but saw this sketch on Helen and Cathy's blogs and had to have a go at it. Have used lots of new stash on here and lots of my expensive stuff but the plan is to send this to one of my best friends whoms birthday is shortly. She knows whom she is and will have to put on a best acting face! It also qualifies for Saturday Secret Crafter whoms theme is glitter as the paper is covered in glitter and I have used twinkling H2O's on the flower.

I am sorry that the image is the same as the last card, but one of the Mum's from Mother and Toddlers saw the card I made for Isobel and asked for me to do a pink bling one for her 8 year old daughter whom has also just passed a ballet exam. Think I may have gone over board with the bling though!

Whiff of Joy - Friendship
I will be so so glad when the building work has finished and all decorated so I can have my craft space back. Sorry for the poor quality of light on this - will try and get one in daylight tomorrow (sun allowing) as the light in my kitchen is an electric strip one which has yellowed the colours slightly.
The quote reads - 'Remember true friends are always together in spirt'. Now the first person whom can tell me where this qoute comes from I will send a bundle of images to.
I hope you like it x

ABC N is for
Not a card, so I decided to do an ATC. Not made one of these in ages so have used an idea of one I did a year ago as I love it and have changed it. We are just passed mayday but this is my take on the idea. The flwers at the bottom are surposed to be mayflowers and tilda is out ready for the dawn. She is so excited she is still in her nightie. I hope you like it.

Whiff of Joy - Katharina Sketch
A quick post here sorry as I really need to try and catch up on all your blogs while I have 5 minutes and a coffee to hand.
I found this pad of K and Co while routing for a yellow pad originally and changed my mind on my colour scheme. I think it has worked really well though. Note to self to try and choose a different pad of paper each time so that I rotate them and don't keep using the same pad, which is a bad habit of mine.

Inspirational Card Sketchers Design Team Call and Saturday Secret Crafter
I hope that the picture of this has turned out ok as the paper is very very dark blue as is the ribbon for the centre band and from the eyelets. It is also fauxed stitched in black and mounted onto black card.
This wonderful sketch is by a talented lady called Dawn whose challenge blog I came upon whilst blog hopping. I am not sure if this card has made the deadline or not - so fingers crossed for me.
I am also entering the card for Saturday Secret Crafter whoms challenge this week is 'Brads or Eyelets' I have choosen to use eyelets.
I do hope you like.

ABC - M is for...
Metalic!
Well we have to keep coming up with something a bit different to stretch you each week!
Well I love this card - unfortunately the electric light in the kitchen ( where I am currently having to craft) is not very good to take photo's with. If it is sunny tomorrow I may try and take a better shot.
My metalic is - the ribbon, spacer and flower, gems and glitter glue.
Do check out the other DT Members card - Samantha is joining us again as a guest designer and is offering another little prize.

Sketch and Stash meets spoonful of sugar (textures)
It may not look like much but is one of the most expensive cards that I have made! What is new - well the papers are from my K and Co tulip pad, the image was the first time I had coloured in distressed inks (apart from my trial with Cathy's), the ribbon I shook cutting as it is my stroking ribbon! The crochet flower was with the ribbon part of my birthday present of Cathy and I have resisted using for so long, but felt the need to use a tiny bit of it today. This is the different textures which qualify it for a spoonful of sugar.
This card will be used for a crafting friend whom will appreciate the value of the items that I have used!

Just Magnolia - Have I been missed?
I am back - should anyone have missed me, but I have missed you all :-)
This is my entry to just manolia this week. I hope you like her. I have been playing with my distressed inks, not perfect yet, but on the way! Sorry for the adaptation of your sketch Bev but I have lent my oval nesties to a friend.
House is still a mess and can't do anything or move anything back until the plaster has dried out and we can repaint. Plaster dust everywhere, have my stash in the kitchen, worse as I keep moving stuff around on cards as I am cooking!
