Little wedding - lili of the valley

 

 Welcome back to my blog, sorry I have been quiet but it is half term here and with two sons whom are 5 and 6 that means Mummy is very busy!

This weeks challenge on Basic Grey is anything goes and I would like to share with you this box card that I have used using an old basic grey pad called Boxer.

This is the side view, the image used is from lili of the valley, and the flowers are WOC, the swirl is from that craft place and the charm is from Stamp and Create

This is the inside of the card, I think this paper so reminds me of the decrative papers inside of hardback books when I was a child, think famous five etc.

The back, I thought I would use the lili of the valley a special day stamp to be filled in, by the person whom requested a wdding card.

A close up of the front so you can see the bouquet better, the die is nesties floral label 8 I think and the ribbon used to tie the book closed, you may just be able to make out the glimmer dust on the brides dress.

Tilda with a little dove

Today for Stamp and Create I am showing you Tilda with a little dove by Magnolia. I have kept it to a very simple design and just added texture using liquid applique on the wings.

Gosh I am late uploading this, I can't even get into my craft room today, yesterday and since sunday we have had all the furniturefrom the boys room in there while their new bunk beds were deleivered and then asembled and everything got dumped in my craft room so I could nto get to my papers so I distressed in pink a little jewellery box and added an dimage and decorated it, I hope you like it and will join us on Stamp and Create with Magnolia this fortnight where the theme is spring and butterflies xxx

Ice Tilda

Not sure on this one - hmm.

Ice tilda coloured in copics mounted on papers from MME called Paris and Co. Just a few pearl beads and a star button ans decoration with a strip of brown ribbon and some lace.

Thinking Willow - Whiff of Joy

It is Basic Grey Challenges again this saturday and the theme is favourite things. SO I have choosen one of my favourite BG pad called Infuse that was sadly discontinued about 5 years ago. I have used Whiff of Joys Thinking Willow as I love this stamp, but I don't use it enough and I love reading. I have added cheese cloth, I love this to add an extra dimension to a card and then a pendent and cameo from the hobby house which I got at the NEC in November. The secquined lace was a chalenge win and the flowers are a few remaining from Wild Orchard Crafts that I have, I love these flowers but sadly I cannot afford them anymore.  A couple of pins finish it off.

Tilda blowing heart - Magnolia

Sorry I have not been around much got a nasty virus and spent wednesday night in A and E, still not very well, so this card has taken over a week to make.

The image is Tilda blowing hearts, the paper is a new MME called Lost and Found 3 Ruby. I have added rose silk ribbon and a large flower spacer.

Please look on Stamp and Create where the new monthly challenge is spring, spring to me means love, hence why I have done a hearts and flowers card.
