Flowers on a sunny day
Well as you can see it is lovely today and I took this photo outside (hence the shadow - whoops!)
This is for two challenges -
*Whiff of Joy - floral
*Dutch dare - lace
Confirmation Melinda has been coloured in using twinkling H2O's and distressed inks and then mounted onto gold and then the papers are K and Co. The flowers and gems are new from Wildorchidcrafts. A quick spray of glimmer mist and hey presto. I am really pleased with this card and I am looking forward to my guest design team spot on the WOJ challenge for August x

Gorjuss in red
This card is for the following challenges
*stamp with fun pearls
* friday Sketchers
Sorry the picture is so dark it has not stopped raining here all day and the natural light is so poor.
I coloured the image (rak of Cathy) with her promarkers while camping last weekend, so all I had to do was mount it up. I decided to paper pierce it and used scraps from my basic grey cupcake pad to follow the sketch on friday sketchers. I hope you like it
My Late Mother's Birthday
Pretty in Pink - Skipping Tilda
This is my entry for Just Magnolia this week.
The image was a rak and is an old tilda that I thought I would use. The papers are a mixture from my scrap box and the DCWV Spring stack. The flowers I have punch and added roses to them and then just a few gems in the top corner and hey presto. I am happy with this and think I am getting better colouring with my promarkers, just need to get a few more colours.
eta the sentiment will be added later as not sure whom I will use this for and will want to add the age to it.
ABC - Y is for Yellow
This is my design team card for ABC this week and I absolutely adore it. I am usually not a fan of yellow but I love these offbeat papers from basic grey and they fit so nicely with the summer tilda kit. The flowers are prima and have been well and truely covered in glimmer mist and the lace is from my stash as are the gems. I hope that you like it.
On another note I have won a design spot for August on the Whiff of Joy challenge site - how excited am I!!!!

Tulip Willow in blue
Gosh you can tell my husband is off this week I have managed to finish 3 cards - unheard of normally. We have just got back from a weekend camping with Cathy. The weather was mixed although we did not make the beach due to my wonderful husband not feeling well (I call it a hangover) and so I am making the most of him feeling guilty! I did for once dress up in 17th Century clothes as did the boys (Cathy bribed Ed with an ice-lolly) so we could go rounf Bodnant Gardens which are so beautiful. Unfortunately I had forgotten the camera so no pictures sorry.
Anyway my card! Willow from the spring kit has been coloured in distressed inks and then mounted using the sketch on Whiff of Joy this week which I have flipped and rotated as I wanted to use a long image. The papers are a new pad of K and Co Tim Coffrey Tulips which I used for the first time. The flowers are prima and have been glimmer misted which I think you can see on the photo as I have been able to shock take in the lovely sunlight outside! (Yes I have a load of washing on the line too as it has a lovely breeze too this afternoon). The ribbon and lace are stash. I do hope you like it x
Out of my comfort zone
This card is for two challenges -
* cute card thursday eyelets
* passion for promarkers lime green (used on dress and leggings) and rose pink (used in hair and clothes)
The papers are a mixture out of my scrap box but boy is this out of my usual vintage look cards. I had a play with Cathy's copics as well as promarkers (the bright pink hair is a ciao copic, the highlights are the rose pink promarker) and this is the result. I decided to go truely manga with this new sugar nellie image. I hope you like it x

ABC Design Team X is for
Helen kindly did this X sketch for us for ABC this week. It is fab and wonderful to use so please check it out. I decided to get my promarkers out and went all grungy and distressed everythign to an inch of it's life! I had fun doing it though hope you like it. The papers are basic grey and the image is sugar nellie gorguss girl which was a rak of Jayne.
Sorry for a brief post I had an asthma attack last night for the first time brought on by my hayfever. Feel a bit rough this morning and did not get chance to finish commenting on all of last weeks card so sorry but I spent last night in Casualty.

An old but beautiful Sarah Kay
I have decided to try and resurrect some of my old stash I loved this stamp but shock have not used it in nearly a year! I decided to use the Spoonful of Sugar challenge of swirls to inspire me. I distressed with antique linen and tea dye the image then painted using distressed inks - the dress is fired brick believe it or not! The papers are a lush K and Co pad I love, the flowers I made and then glitzed with glimmer mist and the lace is stash. I hope you like it. The weather here is awful it is like winter it is so dark hence the poor photo quality.

ABC - DT W is for Windows - My sisters birthday card!
Yes it is a different angle to the one on ABC as I thought I would try again in the slightly better light today (it has stopped raining ofr 5 minutes!) The image is WOJ pregnant Willow and I have used it to make my sisters birthday card as she is 28 weeks pregnant. She and her husband don't know what they are having so I have made the card in yellow. I have coloured using distressed inks and mounted her on a window cut using my nesties. I then cut a thin border to frame the window on the front and inside - this was so fiddly! I only used one sheet on each side of this gorgeous paper from K and Co as it was so pretty and elaborate I did not feel the need to layer it. The flowers are prima and when glimmer misted the green die ran slightly to give this gorgeous effect.
Do look at all the other design team cards and welcome our new design team member Dawn.
We are getting better on the spot front now and hope to be back blogging fully soon. Thank you so much for bearing with me and apologises for not commenting on all the ABC entries last week.

Sugar Bowl - Sketch plus Glitter
Would you believe it if I said this card has been a week on the go, I have managed to do bits in between being a nurse and a comfort blanket for my two poorly little boys. Unfortunately my WOJ Design Team Call is still not finished :-( But good luck to all whom entered.
Wow I have not managed one of these for a while, I keep forgetting it is on - I am useless with fortnightly challenges.
I have washed all the papers in Tea Stain Distressed inks and used a bit on Vintage Photo on the off centre square. The image has been distressed to as a wash and then highlighted and coloured in distressed inks in shades of brown. The lace was stewed in my tea before adding (instead of the sentiment) and I have painted the flowers too before spraying them with glittermist. All papers are KandCo.
I hope you like it, it is lighter in daylight x
DT Card ABC - V is for Vellum
This is my design team card that I made for ABC. I can't tell you the make of the paper and Vellum as both were 12x12 sheets I brought eek 18 months ago and just never got round to using, the image of course is a WOJ. I have made the flower with punches so I could use the vellum in there and I think it works fantastically well. The lace and ribbon are stash too.
I am so sorry I am not commenting my son had a tempreture of 39.8 last night I was so worried until we managed to get it down.
Hope all are ok

Edwards Spoonful of Sugar - Hearts
My eldest son Edward (3) has made this card for my Dad's fiancee's birthday on friday. As you can see he is covered in spots which is chicken pox and he and his little brother have been very ill with it. I cut the image out using my nesties for him which Cathy (I think) had kindly sent to me. I also showed him how to layer the flower on the side of the card (not on it) he has done all the rest. All papers are out of my scrap tray (not letting him near my best he will expect it all the time). He adored punching the flowers out and then being allowed my best glitter glues out!
If you could leave a comment he would adore it.
Thanks
Baby Love
This card is for the following challenges
*Whiff of Joy - 3 papers, 3 flowers, 1 ribbon
*Cute Card Thursday - Stitching
*Dutch Dare - Cathy's Sketch
I have used my distressed inks to make this card, I used cotton wool to distress the image I think it worked really well and glammer misted the flowers - I have learnt to do this before mounting them after runing one card I had previously made - whoops!!! The paper is basic grey - euphoria pad.
We are still covered badly with spots and the boys have been very unwell with it, so sorry I have not left comments for anyone all week.

Lack of cards for a few days - Chickenpox
Sorry I have not posted a card for a few days but we think that my eldest has chickenpox either that or some sort of virus which causes blister type spots. I hope to catch up blogging and crafting soon x
