Shopping and colouring medium questions

Just abit of advice from people to where they shop, for what items. What is better value from one place etc etc just to give me an idea of where else there is out there in cyberspace selling craft stuff.

Shops I know about, and have brought from -

  • Glitterpot - stamps and paper
  • Sir Stampalot - stamps and paper
  • Cuddlybuddly - prima flowers
  • Craft at home - clutterbee bugs
  • Krafty Krafts - stamps and brads
  • Whiff of Joy - stamps
  • Funkykits - stamps.

I am also looking at trying another medium and not sure whether to go down the marker route or the ink route - I would really like to get a starter set (which won't break the bank) to begin with, any suggestions, or does anyone know of any tutorials out there - thanks x

I Vicky I have just brought a set of 10 pro markers and they cost £14.99 including postage from letraset.com. I've had a little practice with them but not quite sure how to get the best from them.I have seen some tutorials for copic markers at http://scrapbitz.blogspot.com/ but I don't know how copics and pro markers compare. If you find any good tutorials on pro markers let me know!
Hugs Lynsey :)

I have broughtthe pro markers aqua as my husband has said if I don't like he can use them for painting his wargame figures for minute details. Just need to find a supplier of copics now.

Have ordered a lush high hopes stamp from silly monkey so will see how we go.

thanks for all the advice x

Copics and promarkers seem to be very similar so the ilovemarkers blog is great for both.
I hope the aqua promarkers arrive today and you enjoy playing with them!
