As the title says not for any competition, should have put the spoonful of sugar into the papertake challenge but too late now. Camera has blurred them abit, so apologises. Both are sugarnellie images coloured with watercolours and using a new blender pen by marvy - I am not sure about the pen, I think I prefer the waterbrush. They both have dovecraft papers and jewels on them, the large red flower is a prima (of course). Hope you like x

Spoonful of Sugar - 3 ribbons
This is my entry to a spoonful of sugar 3 ribbon challenge. The image is a Sugar Nellie that Cathy gave me. I have coloured it in using watercolour pencils and tried her waterbrush on it and I really like the effect and will be getting one of my own. The backing paper is stash from the papermill, and the 3 faux stitched squares are from the basic grey euphoria paper pad. The ribbons I got ina bundle off a craft stall at the weekend, I think the lace one looks brillian behind the image (mounted on a deep purple card). The flowers were a RAK off Lynsey, and the brad is papermania.
I am very pleased with this card - I hope you like it x
A family card
Missing - sorry back now
Sorry I have not been around everyone but it has been manic here, add to it both boys teething again and a weekend away, I have not crafted in ages. Here is a first attempt at faux stitching I did, which I have not posted yet. Thank you all for the emails of concern. I have a problem with my hotmail account so I cannot access them, but I am around on messenger if you need me.

Blog hopping and purchases
Hi everyone.
I have been blog hopping recently, I don't often get chance with the two boys and I like seeing what other people class as their inspirational blogs, so if you get a comment of me about a card and you don't know how I found you this is how. I do like to comment on all cards on a challenge but I don't always get the time, this is why I now publish the link to mine as a clicklink as it is easier than cut and pasting etc.
Nice to see Cathy and Heidi back on line, will be leaving you messages in a bit.
Have tried to do the Tilda blue challenge, but my first card failed as the new card I have for stamping is not as purous as my previous and the colour bleed - grr so having to start again. I have brought some ClutterbeeBugs to use for faux stitching and I can't seem to get that to look very good either, may do a post of all my mistakes for the challenges this week on there!
I have also treated myself to two new tilda's, tilda in pigtails and tilda in a patchwork dress. They have changed the eyes on her as they are now bigger and darker and will get some getting used to and they also seem bigger than the old stamps.
I also have the penny black teed up on order and the the holly critters, nearly time to do all the Xmas cards, can't believe I made them last year at 7 month pregnant and Henry will be one next month!
To finalise my purchases I have 3 sugar nellies on order to which I had hoped would be here today but think they will arrive tomorrow now. So I can see me being busy colouring and stamping for a while.
So will go back to blog hopping, hope everyone is well and not too wet!

Cute Card Thursday - Soft Furnishings - An experiment
The idea was that the image was viewed through a porthole, which has kinda worked. The cover paper is Laura Ashley and is a mock embrodered effect, which I thought nicely suited the challenge. I did add mock stitching along the ribbon using a white crayon but it has not shown up on the photograph. The ribbon is actually velvet, which ties nicely with the theme. The curved edge has not shown up at all well in the photograph I apologise, it is the first time that I have taken a photo of a card that opens iykwim. The flower is one if my lush prima ones and the brad is papermania.
The inside of the card is a sweet ebony image, which has been watercoloured, and mounted on dark blue card and the K and Co paper.

Stamping with Sarah Kay
This is my entry for the Stamping with Sarah Kay sketch challenge this week. The stamp was a RAK image from Cathy so I am sorry but I don't know the name. The backing paper is my new lush K and co, the backing red is from paper mill. The ribbon originally tied a present in, and the big flower is my treat of a prima paintly petals. The brad is papermania and the little flowers are prima with a gem centre. The greeting is stash.
I hope you like x

Sarah Kay Challenge - sketch
This is my entrance piece for the Sarah Kay Challenge this week. I have used my new friskars cutter for the first time and have made a lovely oval, and mounted the image on the same navy paper (papermill) as the backing. The papers were a RAK from Cathy so I don't know where they are from. The charm is one left over from the ABC Challenge of charms and the ribbon is papermania, as are the flowers, brads are making memories. I hope you like x

I am in love with Sugar Nellie's Elizabeth Bell
After a wonderful shopping trip with Cathy at the weekend (brought lots of stuff, a friskars cutting set, lots of ribbon, brads, flowers and papers) I had a play with her Sugar Nellies and I am in love. I can't wait till pay day at the end of the month to buy all of those on my wishlist, and maybe more!
This is image is sowing some love, I have left the kitten off as it would not fit on the card. The bottom paper is K and Co, and the top I can't remember was a present from Cathy. The flowers are papermania as are the brads. I hope you like it, I think that it is gorgeous x

Tilda and Co Challenge 30 - Sketch
This is my entry, please again excuse the poor camera work.
Tilda and her cat are looking out of the window singing twinkle, twinkle before going to bed.
She ahs been coloured using watercolours and the bow was coloured with a whisper pen and her wings are glitter glue in a clear glue.
The papers used are dovecrafts fantasy and plain. The pink backing is stock as is the vellum. The brads are making memories (which I adore and need to order some more).
I did debate adding something to the pink background but thought it would over clutter the card as there is so much going on in the centre of it.
I hope you like it, I also hope Edward's teacher does as it is for her x
Tilda's Cat
Yeah it was back in stock at Glitterpot, so I decided to treat myself, checked out then realised I should have ordered teed up while I was there doh! Luckily i can order it next week as it will not affect the P+P as it would have taken the order into the next bracket anyway! So happy to have finally been able to get this stamp - helps that all my family and friends are cat lovers.
Need to look at backgrounds - any suggestions anyone?

SBS18 - Anniversaries
Very sorry for the poor quality photo, I can't seem to get the light and angle right ont he camera tonight. I will try again in the morning and replace the photo.
Here is my entry to the SBS18 Anniversary challenge set by Jane. I had to enter this as the prize is some Laura Ashley papers, and I have been drooling over these papers for ages and have really wanted them, but my husband has said no as too many papers already - can a girl really have too many papers???!!!!
It is a Sarah Kay image that has been watercoloured and the features have been waterwashed as I wanted a pale effect as the backing paper (papermania) is so strong in colour. I have cut a velum circle into 4 parts and attached these to the corners of the card and added faux stitching. The butterfly gems I am trying to use up - can't you tell, just add a little bit of glitter.
I hope you like x

Spoonful Of Sugar - Animal Magic
Wow I am having a good night tonight for finishing off all the challenges and getting the cards uploaded. Only Tilda and Friends ATC, SBS18, Cute Card Thursday and my design card for ABC to do and I am upstraight - until tomorrow that is!
Anyway please see enclosed my first entry to Spoonful of Sugar. I have used one of my winning stamped images from Heidi. I have mounted her on papermania creative tones warm, and faux stitched the design. I have then added gems of dragonflies to the corners to finish off the design. It is a very simple card but I hope that you like it x
Tilda and Co - A Bugs Life
Luckily for me the challenge was extended by a week, so I am able to enter this lovely card. Tilda is sitting on her summer bench in a lovely summery dress watching the dragonflies play in the sunshine.
Papers are papermania, ribbon is stash, dragonflies are from hobbycraft. Tilda is watercoloured. Hope you like x
Stamping with Sarah Kay
This is my attempt at the Stamping with Sarah Kay challenge. I have had to move the 3 elements from the top right to right side as I did not have enough space on the card, due to the size of the image, but as one of the design team had already done this, I thought it would be ok.
The image is My Sweet Lili as per usual, I do love this stamp. The papers are from stash and the gems butterflies I got from Hobby Craft. Ribbon is stash as is the mounting. The image is watercoloured. I hope you like x
