Blue Christmas and WOYWW

This first card is the first time that I have coloured this image in in copics, and I think it is ok. The papers are dovecrafts from a few years ago which have been distressed in silver ink. The glitter has been added using glossy accents beheath which gives it a lovely raised effect. As there was so much glitter I resisted adding it to the flowers as I thought it maybe over kill. The image is of course Sarah Kay and the flowers are WOC. The embossed panel is using a snowflakes folder from cuttlebug.

challenges -
Allsorts - Sketch
ABC Xmas - Xmas with flowers
Oldie but a goodie - glitter
Simon Says - Sparkle
WOCC - Blue Xmas
Spoonful of sugar - distressing
This card is made using one of the new Lili Of the Valley Stamps I brought at the NEC. Coloured in copics and mounted onto a loose sheet of paper from my draw, sorry I cannot remember the name. I have kept the card quite simple as the paper is so pretty.

Challenge -
Sketch Saturday
(it also qualifies for some of the challenges that I am entering the other card in)
What is on your work desk wednesday, simply a mess! I am so busy I don't seem to get round to putting things away, I am trying to colour images in simular colours to use papers up and save me having to get different embellishments out so I can for example glimmer mist alot of roses together rather than a card at a time. This image is one I have had stamped for ages which I need to get finished as I am making a scrap album for my sister to add the photos to for my neices xmas present.

Hi again Victoria

Thanks for your visit, kind works and heads up on the challenges. I have linked up to both.

Sorry my link was wrong, but can see you found the candy in the end.

I think Sweet Peas are more addivite than most stamps, every new one is a 'need'.

beautiful cards - and a good idea to do multiple cards with the same colour scheme. I often do the same and it really helps to use up the papers quickly.

Happy WOYWW!

I don't own any copics, but I would say you did a fabulous first coloring. Beautiful results. Sorry I'm so late getting here. You would think since I had most of my obligations out of the way, I would have freed up a bit more computer time. Unfortunately, what happened was, I was so far behind, I became overwhelmed. Will try to do better this week.
