WOYWW Quilt one update and mark 2

As you can see the top layer is peiced ready to quilt and here is mark 2 being slowly sewn. I should point out that both have all been hand sewn!

Dorothy - Kraftin Kimmie

Hiya.

This is a door hanger I made using one of the new Wizard of Oz stamps from Kraftin Kimmie. The papers are an old 12" Bo Bunny Sheet, which I had been keeping for something special.  I have kept it nice and clean, the flowers are lace are from Wild Orchard Crafts, and the punched leaves are Martha Stewart. I do hope you like it.

Pearl Tilda - Magnolia - Stamp and Create Product Spotlight

I have used the new pearl tilda and coloured her in blue copics! I then added liquid applique to the bubbles to give them definition and then crystal stickles to her scales and to create ripples on the background to give the impression of sea moving. The paper is Echo park a boys life, adore the vibrant tones. I have tied some wrinkled ribbon using the bow easy and added a small anchor charm. The buttons I used to hopefully give an impression of bubbles rising too are basic grey jovial.

Jelly bean Mouse - House Mouse - Totally Papercrafts

A litle House Mouse - Totally Papercrafts DT

This week the lovely Lisa has set  us a sketch challlenge. This lovely mouse was a rak of the gorgeous and wonderful Lols. Coloured in polychromo's and cut out. The paper is a very old basic grey pad called sugared which is in my must use up before I am allowed to buy more paper pile.

Golly I just managed to get this finished before my copics dies on me - why do they all decide to run out at the same time. My reorder arrived yesterday (needed a signiture so had to go to the main sorting office once DH had come home, so didn't get to look at them till 9ish last night) so if you are looking for my totally papercraft DT card please check back later.

This week on Just Magnolia is a beautiful sketch by the lovely Jacque. I have decided to make a christmas card as I am so behind, I don't want a massive rush come november. I have used glittering tilda, magnolia spruce die, the papers are MME lost and found christmas.

Waterlily - Magnolia - Just Magnolia DT Card

This is my first card as a design team member of Just Magnolia (sweek) I hope it is upto the standard of everyone else. The papers are MME Rosy and I have coloured her in copics, I did the dress red as with her hair she reminded me of little orphan annie.

Boobies - Saturated Canary - totally papercrafts DT

This week my old friend Cathy (as in we first met 14 years ago) has choosen the theme white on white. Now I had a massive mojo block on this, I panicked as there were none of my pretty papers I could use. I have made this for a friend, whom sadly lost her husband this year, I just hope I have the ribbon coloured right.

I am currently redoing my colour chart as i have changed paper and the other one was a year old and the colours probably have faded due to sunlight. I am also putting coloured dots on the caio's which is an idea I saw on here.
